This year the students got the chance to know Aberdeen and the wider context during several site visits, presentations by local collaborators and intense one day brainstorming sessions.
The site visits involved a walk around the main site of the Station Gateway project.
The second day, after an introductory presentation by Cecilia and Ruxandra, the entire group visited the Hazelhead Park. This opportunity was used to get a better understanding of the wider context of Aberdeen, putting in contrast the city centre character with the natural Aberdonian landscape.
What started as a typical Scottish rainy week turned out to be the perfect opportunity to break the ice and get to know the local character better.
